Abstract objects of artVOLUPTUOUS TOWNS

VOLUPTUOUS TOWNS is an exhibition of abstract objects of art at the BEGallery contemporary art gallery. Jan Astner presented his last works from this series. Large spaces allowed for a very attractive presentation. Each abstract object of art was lit with an independent light source. This approach to exhibiting painting allows for a unique, free, focused viewing. Thanks to this, viewers have direct, very close contact with the work. Dark works reflect light, the fluorescent ones simmer with a mysterious glow. This exposure technique allows you to create unique visual impressions.

The VOLUPTUOUS TOWNS exhibition is an example of abstract creativity. The artist adopted landscapes as the theme of his works. Abstract visions of cities, towns and villages are being presented. The unique colors of these objects of art, deviating from natural colors, are an indicator of the unique nature of Jan Astner’s work. Colors are used freely and creatively. Intense colors create strong accents on the walls. The exhibition in an art gallery gave an idea of the decorative character of these abstract objects of art when displayed in the interior of a residence and in public space.

Unique charakter of the exhibition

The abstract objects of art exhibition at the BEGallery art gallery had a unique character. All images were of the same size. Presented on the walls of the gallery, they were arranged in an abstract rhythm. Viewers had the impression of an unreal world. They entered a new space – unusual, unique and very surprising. In four rooms of the art gallery, the curator arranged the paintings so that the viewer could get in touch with each painting independently. The pictures hang exactly at eye level. The viewer had the impression that he was surrounded by the abstract space of the presented city.

The exhibition at the BEGallery art gallery lasted twenty days. The rooms of the art gallery have housed several dozen objects of art. Dozens of people visited the exhibition during the opening. Among them were art critics, curators and collectors. The result of the exhibition were new proposals for presenting the VOLUPTUOUS TOWNS series.
